Here are picts of guitar #9. (#8 is the 12 string Lutz Cocobolo with
broken
neck...picts much later.
The details
OM 14, All Koa, (LMI) (I think from the same tree as Hesh's famous Burst
Guitar)
Left Handed, (Michael L. Faucette, the player)
Waverly Tuners, with Koa knobs
Paua Abalone from Andy DePaule. Horseshoe at lucky 7th
The client is a horseman, cowboy
Burst neck and finish by none other than Tony F.

hey, what happened to my first reply,,, oh well.
Stunning guitar Andy, and a fine example of top notch craftsmanship. I also like that adjustable bridge . If this is not your first koa top, I'd like to ask how the koa sound compares to a soft wood.

Thanks
it is my first Koa top
The "tree" in the backround is a very large Queen Palm
Not really wood at all, so it won't be made into a guitar

Beauty Andy!

Wood, binding and finish really look great. I like how the back is bookmatched and that you didn't use a back centre strip. Anthony Z38884.9953125

Great execution Andy, very clean workmanship, I'd be very interested in hearing a clip of that when it's finished if that is possible. I don't think I've ever heard a koa topped SS.
